In this video I go over how to stop the Rails or Railing on a Classic Boston Whaler Montauk 17 restoration. The rails on some of the classic Boston Whalers were initially held together with screws. This applied to most of the Whaler lineup including the Montauk and Outrages. They eventually went to welded rails but the ones that use screws eventually start rattling.

This video covers a well published solution that is covered in both Whaler Central and continuous wave forums. Essentially, you replace the screws with stainless rivets. The forums recommend SSB6-6S KLIK-FAST RIVETS 3/16 as a solution for this, I went with similar SS rivets from a a different manufacturer and had great results.
