Heavy duty winch out at a Naval Base. Whoa, something that isn't flipped over? Yes, we do basic winch outs too. This job was at the naval base in Los Alimitos, and Alex was already in the area from a previous job so we dispatched him the call in Big Flipper, our 75ton rotator.

The job could not have been easier for Alex, as you'll see in the video. He utilized an equalizing sling for the rear, for an even winch. When you don't use this, that means one side will always have more tension than the other. The sling allows a true 50/50 distribution of pressure on each connecting point.

Seems like the longest part was just the walking to and from the unit and rigging. In just a couple minutes after winching in, the unit was free and clear and ready to be driven back to the customer's yard.

I've been posting lots of super hard jobs, but this is probably the easiest of the year lol. Regardless, what did you guys think? And if you REALLY want to support your favorite tow channel, become a member here:    / @pepestowingservice
