2023 Chevy Camaro Zl1 1LE AMSOIL Oil & Filter Change After Initial Break In Period. Doing the oil change on the 6th Gen Camaro is a breeze all you need is a 15mm socket on a ratchet and an oil filter wrench. No panels need to be removed and the location of the drain plug and filter make it a clean spill free job in under 15 minutes. Always get the car up to normal operating temperature, secure the vehicle with jack stands or service stands and remove oil filler cap to create pressure to flush the crank case. Allow the oil to drain for 15-30 minutes, reinstall drain plug and new oil filter after it is primed and the rubber seal is lubricated, drop car and start adding oil. Once oil level is at the proper level on the dipstick go start the car and reset the oil life monitor using the right hand steering wheel buttons to toggle to the reset menu. Simple and easy. Always clean up any spills and recycle used oil in plastic containers.
