Want to spend an entire month at a state park for free with full hookups for your RV?
Camp hosting is where you live in your own camper/ motorhome/ or travel trailer in a state park’s campground. You’ll be provided a campsite free of charge in exchange for approximately 12-20 hours of work per week, working 5 days with 2 days off. You’ll typically serve for 30 days at a time, although that can vary by state.
In this video I’m focusing on my experience hosting for the 1st time at Hanging Rock State Park in Danbury North Carolina. I also share some of the things this beautiful park has to offer.
As a side note NC state parks only allow for stays up to 14 days for guests. Host’s are exempt from that rule. Also many NC state park campgrounds don’t have full hookups for RV’s. But host sites will always have water/ sewer/ and electrical hookups.
Thanks for being part of the journey, have a blessed week!
