We're back at it! We take you back to California with us and then return to the boat in Mexico and crack in on some projects. We've been astray from our normal "programing" due to the loss of our 2023 hard-drive. SO.... I've skipped Episode 270 to leave the possibility of putting together a longer video of the footage you haven't seen when we recover the data. It's less a matter of 'if' and more a matter of 'when' ;)
This episode we tackle a recurring and aggravating topic; the alternator (however, we weren't sure this was the culprit until the weather cooled down. We were just having power charging/storing problems and it's not entirely the alternators fault...) We are successful! And, we start in on an improvement project; moving the running backs forward. On a boat there is always a list and it is ever changing. Sometimes it is a project you thought you solved or completed only to then put it back on the list and cross it off again... probably repeat BUT hopefully not for a few years this time. Sometimes it is a project that was "done" in a temporary fashion and now you no longer want to live with that temporary solution so it moves up on the list out of the need for efficiency and sanity.
