If you have been watching my channel you have seen Brandon and I doing a bunch of trail running adventures to get him ready of the Cocodona 250 Trail Race in Arizona. That is a 250 mile race across the rugged terrain of the State.

Brandon has a rare genetic disease called Ankylosing Spondilyitis (AS), and he wanted to take on this challenge after helping another person with AS, Helgi Olafson finish the Cocodona 250 the prior year (2022). Brandon paced Helgi and was inspired by all the people doing ultramarathon distances of 200+ miles.

Brandon would tell you that I was his coach, but I am no coach, I am just a guy who has a little bit more experience of running trails and doing some Spartan Ultra races and 50K and 50 Mile trail races. We were over the tips of our skis on this one.

Brandon is tall, heavy, a clydesdale and was not a "runner" growing up, but he has the heart of a lion. We took this challenge on and I called it stalking the impossible. Because all the odds were stacked against us.
