Givens, Jamestown Rediscovery’s Director of Archaeology, discusses that factors that led to Jamestown Island being identified this year as one of the 11 Most Endangered Historic Places by The National Trust for Historic Preservation. In addition, David also describes the start of the 2022 Jamestown Field School and how awareness of threatened areas on the Island led to the selection of specific digging sites this summer.
