This 2006 Lexus GS 300 AWD did not crank or do anything except turn on the accessories and display Check VSC when the start button was depressed. The problem was intermittent causing it hard to diagnose! Watch the video and learn many ways to diagnose a no start. Learn how to check your starter, fuel pump relay, brake switch, crankshaft position sensor, and neutral switch.

Removal process: remove the engine cover and 2 covers over the fender and one in front. Disconnect the battery. Remove the Intake box, Throttle Body, and unplug all sensors connected to the intake, throttle body, and intake manifold. After removal of the intake manifold you should be able to access the sensor! Disconnect the sensor as by tracing the wire back to the plug. A 22 mm wrench is required to remove the sensor. Replace in reverse order.
