First it was Harry Styles in 2012 idiotically calling them dinosaurs. Then came the dumbass 2016 article in Guitar World Magazine calling Taylor Swift "The Next Eddie Van Halen." Then recently this year came the ignorant schmuck at the Tool concert who walked up to Eddie Van Halen in the audience, asking him to take a picture of him in front of the stage, but didn't know how he was. The last straw for me was Billie Eillish on Jimmy Kimmel a few days ago saying she had never heard of Van Halen.

So, because all of that really grinding my gears, I took it upon myself over the last 3 days to put a little something together that I edited together to remind people just exactly who this mighty Van Halen really are, whether it's the schmuck at the Tool concert or Billie Eillish. For Christ’s sake, an ant with a broken leg in a porta potty in Calcutta knows who they are. It's like if I wanted to go into the NBA to become a basketball player but I've never heard of Michael Jordan.
