Psalms 90:12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

To count the number of our days is to live our lives with an eternal perspective or you could say – to live this life for the next. This way of seeing our days changes everything.
It means our dreams and goals will be motivated by the things that will matter a thousand years from now. It’s a reminder to not chase after the things that won’t last, but to seek first Jesus and His Kingdom.
