Fastest lap from my first time driving the Ring! Was fortunate enough to book 16 laps and an instructor through RSRNurburg. Cannot say enough about their agency and the experience as a whole, unbelievable experience and great instructing.

Lap timer was glitching throughout so sync is a bit off. Managed a 9.06 on my 9th lap, I think the track record is an 8.06 for this car. Gearbox has a completely different feel than my C4 so some issues finding gears in addition to just trying to learn the track layout. Lots of beginners mistakes in this lap, and with learning everything for the first time, still getting comfortable with where on track the car could be pushed. Another track day and I think I could have easily gotten into the low 8:50s.

The Norschleife itself is an absolutely breathtaking track. Extremely intimidating, raw, fast, unsettling, unforgiving. You are blind for a good portion of the turns and you have to trust that you can take the car at speed. The undulations and elevations of the track are not even remotely captured in the video. The track throws the car around and puts forces on it that you just don't get at other tracks. It is a big roller coaster, but without rails.
