There are more important things than the temporary things most of us try to attain in life, for there's more to our existence than what we experience in the here'n'now. Our focus must be on things eternal not temporal.. for temporal things will not last. We must be living for eternity! The Bible declares in (Ecclesiastes 3: 11), "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end."

We are not to live for this world nor seek it's fame, fortune and pleasure this world can provide, for we are ultimately sojourners/strangers just passing through. And for the believers in Jesus we are citizens of another kingdom, a Heavenly Kingdom; we have an eternal home, and guaranteed eternal promises from our Saviour. We must have Christ and eternity at the forefronts of our mind and heart, for there is truly nothing in this world that can compare to what awaits for the believers in Jesus (Yeshua). The Bible declares in (Colossians 3: 1-4), "If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in Glory."
