The 2024 Kia EV5 is looking to change the game. Yes, it's another mid-size SUV, but it's a mid-size SUV with a difference. Okay, it is a fully electric vehicle, but it's a very special one because of its expected pricing, which Australian executives have hinted will shake up the establishment – we're looking at you, Tesla Model Y.

In fact, the new EV5 could very well find itself with a sub-$60,000 starting price, which would see it undercut the Model Y by more than $5000. As such, Kia Australia has high sales expectations for the its new zero-emissions model, with it expected to become a best seller in all regards.
