We were on our way home after quite a long day at the inland sea. We came across a rollback recovery truck that had got stuck.

We winched it at first which got it unstuck, but it would not ride up onto the surface of the sand. Rather than back up and winch another couple of times to get it to hard ground, we then pulled it with a Bubba rope. Quite possibly we should have done this in the first place, but the rope is always buried under a load of other stuff in the back of the cruiser.

These trucks are only rear wheel drive. They usually wait near the paved Road to transport any crashed, rolled or broken down vehicles. They also out of necessity, do not deflate their tires.
Of late they have been venturing further towards the inland sea in order to beat the competition.

This is the second rollback we recovered in as many weeks.
