In this episode of the Caterham Adventures we breakdown and rebuild the Caterham Seven Academy Car. This particular Caterham is an ex academy car so it has a few minor scuffs and blemishes. Mechanically the little Caterham's 1.6ltr K-Series engine is as sweet as a nut but cosmetically the car needs a little bit of TLC without making it in to a concours example. The battle scars on this little ex-academy Caterham add to it's character and it would feel somehow wrong to remove them altogether. The main aim was to get rid of any surface rust which is an age related problem.
