It doesn’t take much searching to see the darkness in the world. It is all around us, but when Jesus was resurrected, God defeated death, evil, and sin. It is through Jesus, the Light of the World, that we can have unshakable hope.

“In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:4-5

In a world of self-help, striving, and trying to build our own kingdoms, God shows up. He took on flesh so that we can know the answers to our deepest needs. God is on the move pursuing and loving us. The question is, how will we respond to him?
