Kim Dotcom, the internet millionaire wanted by the US over alleged copyright theft, has entered politics in New Zealand. Dotcom, who ran the website Megaupload before it was closed by the US, launched his Internet Party to contest New Zealand's general election later this year. However, he may not be in the country to lead the campaign - he faces an extradition hearing before the election over US charges of criminal copyright theft, racketeering and money laundering relating to Megaupload.
