Hamar is the largest city in Innlandet county and the 17th largest in Norway. It is, like Lillehammer, Gjøvik, Brummundal and Moelv, towns in the Mjøs-region - all with a location by the largest lake in Norway, Lake Mjøsa. In this video we give you 10 reasons why you should visit Hamar. Examples are the Vikingship arena from the 1994 Lillehammer Olympics and the annualy skating World Cup, the Norwegian Railroad Museum, the glasscovered ruins at Domkirkeodden, the infamous dive tower and the world´s oldest paddle steamer in a timetabled service - the Skiblander.
