This episode of Automotive Icons features a mini-documentary on the life and legacy of Ettore Bugatti, the visionary genius behind the legendary Bugatti hypercar company that we know today along with the some of the most iconic cars in history. In this video, I go over Bugatti's beginnings as the son of a designer and how he got his start in engineering and working on early motorcycles and automobiles. His solo venture Automobiles E. Bugatti produced numerous racing successes and the company would delve more into the luxury market with models like the Bugatti Royale and Bugatti Type 57 (with its many variants like the Type 57S/SC and Atalante and Atlantic). Ettore Bugatti's life would be marred by tragedy as he passed away shortly after the end of WW2. Thanks for watching!
