Alan Turing died in 1954 at 41 years of age, just 2 years after being prosecuted by the state for being gay. But that was the tragic end of a remarkable life. Much of his work in WW2 was classified by the British government until recently. Still, he has long had a following as the conceptual parent of the computer. The Imitation Game focuses on the war years. Turing is played by Benedict Cumberbatch & his closest ally, Joan Clarke, is played by Keira Knightley. The actors chatted with David Poland under duress of hunger in this DP/30 interview.

Shot in Toronto, September 2014
