How to plant trees? In this video I prep the ground and plant apple trees! I actually apply this to all of the trees I plant, and the trees seems to thrive in Iowa. The mulch helps protect the tree from extreme cold, inhibits weed growth and makes is easier to mow around. I also use the protective sleeve to keep the animals away! I also do not stake the trees; I have the best luck just lightly packing the soil and letting the roots develop naturally. I hope you enjoy!
