In the video I'll be showing you some bottle gourd plants I grew in my garden and food forest, before harvesting some dry gourds, then crafting one into a beautiful lamp to display in my home.
This DIY project is a lot of fun to grow and very satisfying to make so I hope you give it a try! More details below to create your own gourd lamp or lantern.

Bottle gourds are one of the worlds first cultivated plants, and have been used for many different things over thousands of years, from water bottles, musical instruments, utensils, storage containers and many other things. It's no surprise there are endless creative ways to use them!
