There have been a number of updates to Influx since my last tutorial a year ago, so I've created a run through to refresh things with the new UI. I also split off the Grafana tutorial so that those that want to save the resources can use just InfluxDB to get started.

This video will show you how to configure influxDB and Chronograf to get data from home assistant and to chart it. I go over things like where the logs are, how it connects, setting up basic charts and dashboards. Influx is a time based setup, so I show how to use that to gain insights into data comparing timelines.
