It was narrated that Uqbah bin Amr (رضي الله عنه) said
I followed the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) when he was riding, and I placed my hand on his foot and said : O Messenger of Allah, teach me Surah Hud and Surah Yusuf. He said: You will never recite anything greater before Allah than:
قل اعوذ برب الفلق
قل اعوذ برب الناس

Sunan an-Nasa’i 953
114.2 Narrated `Aisha (رضي الله عنها)
Whenever Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) went to bed, he used to blow on his hands while reciting the Mu’auwidhat ( i.e. Suratal-Falaq 113 and Surat-an-Nas 114) and then pass his hands over his body.

Sahih al-Bukhari 6319
114.3 Narrated ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani (رضي الله عنه)
that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) said: “Some Ayat have been revealed to me the likes of which have not been seen: Qul A’udhu Birabbin-Nas until the end of the Surah and Qul A’udhu Birabbil-Falaq until the end of the Surah.”

Jami` at-Tirmidhi Vol. 5, Book 42, Hadith 2902
114.4 ‘Abdullah bin Khubaib (رضي الله عنه) reported
The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) said to me, “Recite Surat Al-Ikhlas and Al- Mu’awwidhatain (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas) three times at dawn and dusk. It will suffice you in all respects.”

Riyad as-Salihin Book 16, Hadith 49
114.5 Narrated `Aisha (رضي الله عنها)
Whenever Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) became sick, he would recite Mu’awwidhat (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An- Nas) and then blow his breath over his body. When he became seriously ill, I used to recite (these two Suras) and rub his hands over his body hoping for its blessings.

114.6 Narrated ‘Aisha (رضي الله عنها)
Whenever the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) went to bed every night, he used to cup his hands together and blow over it after reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas, and then rub his hands over whatever parts of his body he was able to rub, starting with his head, face and front of his body. He used to do that three times.

Sahih al-Bukhari 5017
114.7 Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (رضي الله عنه) reported
The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) used to seek protection against the evil of jinn and the evil eyes till Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas were revealed. After they were revealed, he took to them for seeking Allah’s protection and left everything besides them.

Riyad as-Salihin Book 9, Hadith 25
It was narrated that ‘Aishah (رضي الله عنها) said
“When the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) came to a sick person, he would make supplication for him, and would say: Adhhibil-bas, Rabban-nas, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa’a illa shifa’uka shifa’an la yughadiru saqama (Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).’”

Sunan Ibn Majah Vol. 4, Book 31, Hadith 3520
It was narrated that ‘Aishah (رضي الله عنها) said
“The Prophet (ﷺ) used to seek refuge using the following words: ‘Adhhibil-ba’s, Rabbin-nas, washfi Antash-shafi, la shifa’a illa shifa’uka, shifa’an la yughadiru saqaman (Take away the affliction, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer and there is no healing that leaves no sickness).’ When the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم) fell sick with the sickness that would be his last, I took his hand and wiped it over his body and recited these words. He withdrew his hand from mine and said: ‘O Allah, forgive me and let me meet the exalted companions (i.e., those who occupy high positions in Paradise).’ Those were the last words of his that I heard.”
