I keep hearing folks online tell people SAFE mode does not turn on until you run up the throttle. This is a misunderstanding and isn't true. I'll prove it in this video. SAFE mode is always on if you have SAFE Select enabled and the SAFE mode switch properly programmed and activated. It is the AS3X "wind mitigation" gyro mode that doesn't turn on until you run up the throttle, SAFE and AS3X are two different things.
