“Say Our Names, Remember Our Faces” , I have been sitting on this poem for a while because every time I read it I get angry and feel like I cant give the poem justice. The truth is our black bodies have been dying at the hands of corrupt police officers. We don't even know the names of some of these people because their stories don't make it mainstream. As I was making this video I see that there are way more people who die at the hands of police than we even know. After the heinous killing of Ahmaud Aubrey, I feel like this had to be posted. Sadly Ahmaud Aubrey won't be the last Black person killed at the hands of White Supremacy, there needs to be change but let's not ever forget our fallen soldiers.
