Ford has tanked the last few years in those famous reliability and recall studies and Honda actually has the recalls that affect the greatest number of people for 2023. But, these studies are looking at every "problem" reported with the same weight and importance and are not filtering out user error. The outcomes and conclusions we would make from reliability studies and the manufacturers with the most recalls list is potentially very misleading. Honda and Ford are by far not the worse brands out there and these lists benefit irresponsible companies that hide their problems and issues and refuse to recall problems and as such leave you to suffer or pay for their problem.

Every model on the market will have problems and how many actual problems and not just technological complications is far more important than the data that is being used to decide who is reliable and who is not. Not only do these reliability studies not actually differentiate between big, and small errors vs user error but they are not nearly as helpful as some people think.

Forget reliability studies that can be swayed based on what data is studied and how it is studied and lets push to actually get MANUFACTURER RESPONSIBILITY REPORTS. We want to know who are the automobile manufacturers that actually stand behind their product, admit mistakes and then fix them for free instead of passing the bill and blame on the buyer.
