The 2023 Ford Maverick Tremor is the most off-road worthy version of the Ford Maverick, which is one of the most useful all-around vehicles on the market. The Ford Maverick is the perfect do-everything vehicle, combining truck versatility with crossover ride, handling, and gas mileage. The Ford Maverick hybrid is a fantastic little work truck, so does it make sense to turn the Maverick into a more authentic off-road truck by creating the Ford Maverick Tremor. Yes and no. The Ford Maverick Tremor has actual off-road abilities and hardware, and like the Ford Bronco Sport, it's far more capable than people realize. Sadly, we weren't able to put it to the test off-road, but in daily life the Ford Maverick Tremor is very pleasant to live with--and it looks pretty cool to boot! As the only real truck-ish offering in the segment, there's definitely an appeal to the way it looks compared to the Hyundai Santa Cruz and Honda Ridgeline, which is more midsize anyway, but the Ford Maverick Tremor has more going for it than just good looks. As I've said in previous reviews, the Ford Maverick is probably all the truck most people need if they're being honest with themselves, and it will be much more pleasant to live with than a full-sized Ford F-150 that you don't even use.
