Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Hellwig rear anti-sway bar for the Ford trucks. Now, this part is the custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1999 to 2007 Ford F-350 Super Duty Dually trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application. Now, this anti-sway bar will minimize side to side movement, helps improve overall stability of your vehicle.

It'll let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence, allows for a nice level ride even on irregular surfaces, and it reduces driver fatigue, which minimizes the effort required to keep your vehicle in line. Now, this kit here is made with polyurethane bushings. These polyurethane bushings are used instead of the standard rubber variety, gives you a lot longer lasting system. Now, polyurethane is durable and resistant to damage that can be caused by oil, gas, and ozone. And the less wear will be less give in the system and better support.

Now normally when you use polyurethane bushings, they're used on a sway bar with grease that is used on the installation. And what happens is over time that grease will dry out and you sometimes get the bushings squeaking. So what Hellwig does, I'm gonna zoom in on the finish real close here if you look, Hellwig uses a silver vein hammer tone finish on their sway bars. If you look, they have small divots in the finish and that'll help keep the grease in the bushings and keep the polyurethane bushings greased and eliminate any noise. This bar is constructed of a thick 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength.

The bar diameter is 1-1/8 inches and it is designed to fit your vehicle and work in conjunction with its suspension system. Basically it attaches to the rear axle and to the chassis and it uses the weight of the axle to brace the frame as it shifts and turns. And it also avoids interference with most of your popular after-market add-ons and accessories. Does include, if you notice, everything here on the table, includes all the zinc-plated mounting hardware you need. Nice set of easy to follow instructions.

And if you notice, they also give you two small tubes of bushing lubricant. And this part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on this Hellwig rear anti-sway bar for the Ford trucks.
