Glepnir is the name of the chain forged by the dwarves with six impossible ingredients to trap the fierce wolf Fenrir. The gods, worried by the ever-growing size and strength of the wolf, had challenged to try and break several chains he was bound with. He easily broke even the most resistant chains, until he was shown Gleipnir, which looked like a silken ribbon. Guessing a deceive, Fenrir refused to be chained with Gleipnir, until someone had placed their arm in his mouth as a guarantee. None of the gods dared accepting, until Týr stepped forward and placed his hand into the wolf’s mouth, well aware that, as soon as Fenrir would realise he had been tricked, he’s have teared off the god’s arm.

I know a transcription in runes of such a text doesn’t really have any reason to be, if not as a treat, but yeah…that’s just what it is, bear with me.

Any suggestion and/or observation is warmly welcome.

The lyrics are pronounced as modern Icelandic, instead of using Old Norse pronunciation: e.g. they sing “á” with its Icelandic pronunciation [au], instead of a simple [a:].
