In this video I will be using the lost PLA method to turn a 3d print into an awesome aluminum casting. I started by printing the model on my 3d printer and then coated it with a ceramic material. I then fired the shell in my kiln and then poured aluminum into the shell. This is similar to the lost wax casting process.
