So grateful that I am able to live in such a nice dorm this year! For all of you that are curious, Brown does a housing lottery each year, so it is truly dumb luck that I landed in a dorm like this. Although there are dorms that are considered nicer than my current dorm, I still think it's one of the best double dorms that Brown has to offer currently, mainly because of the room layout, square footage, and private bathroom.

All of the dorms here have pros and cons, and I do think they level out for the most part. There are obviously some dorms that are undesirable, but there is always a tradeoff, not every dorm has it all. For example, my dorm is pretty far down on the south campus, but that's the sacrifice I make for the amenities. To all of you high schoolers applying to colleges, I'm wishing you all the absolute best of luck. You guys got it :)
