The Copenhagen production is one that is always overlooked. With it having an amazing cast and some really gorgeous sets and costumes, I definitely think it should be appreciated! Louise Fribo is in a class of her own; her rendition of the title song alone is proof. The control she has over her voice and interpretation and the command she holds onstage is incredible. Tomas Ambt Kofod also was the Phantom in this production (and was phenomenal), but I wanted to showcase something of Bo Kristien Jensen. He tends to also be overlooked. Louise (and Tomas) went on to be in the 2018/19 Copenhagen revival of POTO.
