A civil rights lawyer plans to sue a Key West, Florida police department and school district after they arrested a crying 8-year-old boy. The lawyer, Benjamin Crump who’s client list includes the George Floyd family, released the video on social media.

Crump is accusing the officers of trying to "shame and terrify the small child,” with behavioral and emotional disabilities.
Key West Police Chief Sean T. Brandenburg said in a statement Monday, his officers did nothing wrong: "Based on the report, standard operating procedures were followed.”
