Author David Sedaris: he's got a gift for finding humour in the mundane - a gift brought to bear in a string of bestsellers that, while funny, are often a bit edgy and underpinned by darkness. His latest collection of stories is called 'Let's Explore Diabetes with Owls'. Weirdly, this book doesn't teach you how to explore diabetes with owls! But it may make you laugh, while also tapping into some true emotion.
