Tim Jenkin was involved in the underground anti-apartheid struggle in the late 1970s. After being active for two and a half years, he was arrested in 1978 and sentenced to 12 years in prison. After 18 months in Pretoria Prison he escaped with two others.

This is a documentary of their dramatic escape aired by National Geographic Channel in June 2013. It appeared as an episode of the National Geographic Breakout series.
