The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe extravaganza to hit our screens is WandaVision, the first of the Disney+ limited series featuring much-loved characters from the MCU. Focusing on Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, and The Vision, and starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, the show is created by Jac Schaeffer and blends classic TV and sitcom elements with a surreal and exciting comic book story. But is everything as it appears to be?

Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, and first appeared in comics form in The X-Men #4 (March 1964). Vision, meanwhile, was created by Roy Thomas, Stan Lee and John Buscema, and first appeared in The Avengers #57 (October 1968). The characters were first introduced properly in live action in Joss Whedon's Age of Ultron.

Wanda and Vision have had a bumpy romance over the films they've shared together, including Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Vision appeared to meet his end in the Avengers' final confrontation with Thanos, but now he has reappeared; what does that mean for the character and for the MCU timeline going forward?

Is it possible that the Vision may not be as dead as we thought? Is something else going on here? This video explores the various possibilities and theories and tries to work out exactly what might be going on - and what it means for the characters.
