On July 5th 2021, I quickly visited 5 really cool spots that everyone should visit when they are in Pittsburgh. Make sure you use the mouse and scroll around. Here they are:

#5 The Grandview Overlook (30 secs) is a scenic area on Mt. Washington overlooking downtown Pittsburgh that is open 24/7. The overlook is a great way to see downtown Pittsburgh and take unbelievable pictures. It is #5 on the list because it is a great way to show where the other 4 places are in relation to the city.

#4 The Plaza at PPG Place (30 secs) is a unique space that (pre-covid) used to allow children and adults to walk and play in the water features of the fountain. Currently there is a security guard (see on video) stationed in the plaza to stop anyone from playing in the water. I am not sure why this is the case because it was such a fun place for the kids to cool down and have some fun.

#3 Bicycle Heaven (30 secs) is one of the most unique places you can go in Pittsburgh. It is a FREE museum (donations accepted of course) where you can see almost any bicycle ever made. you are sure to find a bike very similar to the ones you grew up with. I'm not a huge bike guy but I find something very nostalgic and pleasing about coming here and walking around.

#2 The Point (30 secs) is probably the most recognizable spot in Pittsburgh. It is the heart of Pittsburgh and is surrounded by the (3) rivers, Heinz Field, bridges galore, Point State Park, boats and of course the fountain. On this day, (July 5th 2021) there was so much activity happening all around the fountain.

#1 Randyland! (1:19 secs) Randyland is a place that is very hard to explain. It is a house in the Mexican War Streets area of Pittsburgh that is brightly decorated and adorned with random objects. When you meet Randy (in the video) you kind of start to understand why the place is so special. Randy loves everyone and just wants to let everyone have a safe, fun and unique place to hang out and meet new people.
