Driving from London to Switzerland by Car can be quite an enjoyable experience if you break the 12 hours journey down in 2 parts.

We stopped for one night in the champagne Region in Vinay at the "Hostellerie La Briqueterie" where we used the beautiful Spa to gain energy for the second part of the long drive.
The region is exactly half way between London and Zurich and has a big choice of excellent Hotels and fine dining restaurants.
