We, the people, are America, and as America, we must stand together and not let others who strive for power divide us. So long ago, our ancestors fought together to pull away from tyranny, only to and themselves as a young new nation fighting amongst each other. When we began as a nation, we did not understand each other nor of our differences. Some of those who came to this new land looked at others as inferior beings and enslaved those who were not like them, or they drove them far away from their homelands. Many others stood to fight for those being oppressed, and they shed their blood on the battlefields of our lands so all men and women could be free.

Let’s not forget our past, but embrace it and allow it to make us all as one. We, as a nation have overcome a lot of challenges, but as a strong people, we stood tall. The struggles and hardships that many went through should strengthen our resolve, not put a wedge between us.

Those who sought to divide us in the past are still dividing us today with their lying tongues and false accusations. They use us as political fodder, spreading lies to cause us to hate one another. Together we are one nation with the same needs and wants. We all have a passion for life, and we all want to live free and to prosper. Those who divide us know that if we stand strong as one people, they would have no power to control us. They would once again fear us instead of us fearing them. We as a one nation need to stand up and say

enough is enough.
