The Lotus Elise is the car that saved the company, between it and its later sister the Exige, the Elise kept Lotus afloat for a couple of decades, through various weird new ideas and strange or even absent owners.

Now though, it is time to say goodbye to both, the Lotus Elise and Lotus Exige will not be in production after 2021. They will be replaced by the Emira, which is set to be unveiled soon, but before they bow out, we decided it was time for one final hurrah at their home of Hethel.

The Final Editions of the Exige and Elise have 400 and 240PS respectively, and are built to still be similar, but very different cars, do they still stand up to the tests of time even today?
