Run rings around Lamborghini and Ferrari owners with this simple glass fibre-bodied homegrown hero.

Britain used to be the epicentre of affordable-ish performance. Wind the clock back 20 years or so and you’d find TVR and Lotus (with the sadly now defunct Elise) giving cars of far greater monetary value and prestige a right kicking when shown a racetrack. If you wanted to embarrass the most elite of supercars, though, you needed to get yourself a Noble M12. Sure, it’s 357hp twin-turbocharged V6 in GTO-3 form sounds relatively paltry, but couple that with a kerb weight of just 1,050kg and a chassis setup that promotes endless amounts of grip resulted in a simple-yet-effective track weapon. Noble is due to release a new – albeit more expensive – supercar in the form of the M500 later this year. We sent Cam to Hilton and Moss to get acquainted with Noble’s last smash hit.
