This film produced in the early 1960's, by what was then known as The South Carolina Highway Department, shows the history of South Carolina's Roadway system up until the 1960s. The film was made by Columbia Films. It's been adapted from its original 4x3 aspect ratio to fit modern 16x9 screens.The film has shots of the old Grace Memorial Bridge (old Cooper) in Charleston before the Pearman Bridge (new Cooper) was built in 1967.
