“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers spoke with Pete Davidson and Judd Apatow as they promoted their new film “The King of Staten Island.”

Davidson dedicated the film to his firefighter dad, who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks when Pete was just 7. When asked if the movie was emotional to film, Pete said, “It got really emotional just being able to work with all those firefighters and be in the firehouse.”

Noting that his dad would be “blown away” by the film, Pete revealed that his mom “cried a bunch” after seeing it. He added, “She was really touched and really really proud.”

“The King of Staten Island” is available June 12 on demand.
