The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with the new EcoDiesel engine makes gobs and gobs of rock climbing torque. The new engine makes 442 lb-ft of it. It's a pricey option however at $4,000 and the mandatory automatic transmission adds another $2,000.

With the Rubicon package this is the most off-road capable Jeep you can buy today. It's one of the most go-anywhere vehicles on the planet. To test it out, we took it rock climbing, over moguls and we drove it on pavement too to find out if the EcoDiesel is the ultimate engine in the ultimate Jeep.

Special thanks to Jeff at Fully Spooled for filming
