Collecting CAN bus data can be a challenge!

Whether it's from hard-to-reach places, remote locations (e.g. client sites) or from multiple applications (e.g. a fleet of trucks) it can be a pain.

But we've got the solution for you:

With the CL3000, you'll get a low-cost WiFi CAN logger that stores raw CAN bus data on the built-in 16 GB SD card. With this massive storage, you can record data for very long periods - and with WiFi, you'll access a ton of convenient new features.

KEY FEATURES
1) A 2-in-1 CAN analyzer: Wireless CAN logger and wired real-time CAN interface
2) Wireless transfer of log data via "Access Point" or "Station" modes (LAN standard 802.11 b/g/n)
3) Access data wirelessly via PC, laptop, tablet or phone - locally or online
4) WiFi security via WEP, WPA, WPA2 and customizable password
5) 16 GB SD card included for stand-alone CAN bus recording
6) Rapid wireless CAN data transfer up to 70 Mbps (~9 MB/s)
7) Real-time clock with battery backup for date & time stamping CAN data

... and so much more! For the full list, check out the above article.

EXAMPLES OF USE
For example, you are able to connect to the logger remotely via an intuitive user-friendly web interface. You can do this within a WLAN or remotely - e.g. allowing you to monitor machinery at a client site without disturbing them.

Or, you can use the automatic FTP push feature to automatically sync the raw CAN data to a specified FTP server, cleaning up the SD card once they're sent. This you can of course do e.g. across a fleet of 50 or 100 trucks.

And to make it extra easy for you, we've now also upgraded our free software CANvas to allow scheduled auto conversion of raw CAN data. That means you simply provide CANvas with a *.DBC file, your preferred output settings - and CANvas will then process the raw files from your FTP destination folder. In return, it'll provide you with a neat, custom-fit *.TXT file with scaled engineering values.
