A major restaurant in downtown Bristol recently announced it's closing for good.

The owner of Bloom made the announcement earlier this week on social media.

The popular restaurant has been in business for seven years.

News 5 spoke with her Thursday she mentioned that the reason she made the difficult decision to close was due to financial issues.

However, she says she feels honored to have been able to serve the Bristol community all these years.
