Use Detail as your camera on your favorite streaming platform like Twitch, YouTube Live, or Instagram. As of April 2023, we don't have direct RTMP streaming in the app anymore, but you can select the Detail Camera extension as your camera in any streaming platform and stream and record high quality video

Gear list:

(Just a heads up — these aren't affiliate links and we don't have deals with any of these brands. This is just some of the gear we use and would recommend.)

Sitecom USB-C hub – https://www.amazon.nl/Sitecom-CN-388-... (we couldn't find this on Amazon.com)

USB-C to lightning cables (3m) – https://www.amazon.com/Belkin-BoostCh...

https://www.amazon.com/KINPS-Certifie...

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08VNW5QK7/

Capture Cards:
Generic 4k capture card (USB-C) – https://www.amazon.com/Capture-Record...

Generic 4k capture card (USB-C) – https://www.amazon.com/Capture-1080P6...

Elgato Cam Link 4k (USB-A) – https://www.amazon.com/Elgato-Cam-Lin...

Elgato HD60 X – https://www.elgato.com/en/game-captur...

If your camera has a smaller HDMI port you can pick up one of these adapters or get a micro/mini to HDMI cable. (make sure to check because there are different smaller sizes!):

Micro HDMI to HDMI (looks a bit like micro-USB) – https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Adapter...

Mini HDMI (about the size of a USB-A plug) – https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Compati...

Tip: When you connect your camera and record in Detail, make sure to set the frame rate to 30 FPS (PAL). Detail records in 30 fps, so a different frame rate results in lag or lower quality video.
