There are plenty of shows that get canceled after just one season on the air, but a show has to be truly awful to not even hit the five-episode mark. Many of these shows were controversial long before they aired their first episode, as many found their premises sexist, racist, or transphobic, and audiences found them to just be boring when they ultimately did air.
