As part of a Belgian trade delegation, HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium, toured Peter Mac today. The visit had a focus on nuclear medicine, which both Belgium and Australia are leaders in. Princess Astrid, and members of the Belgian Government, visited Peter Mac's cancer imaging area where patients receive these treatments. The visit was co-organised by Telix Pharmaceuticals - a maker of diagnostic and therapeutic products using targeted radiation, and Peter Mac's close neighbour in Melbourne's Parkville biomedical precinct.
